About me

Hi, I’m Clara Yousif, originally a Biomedical Engineering graduate from Cairo University, now living in Canada and studying Artificial Intelligence at Sheridan College. My path moved from engineering into tech because I’ve always been drawn to building things that are smart, useful, and actually make life easier.

These days, I spend most of my time working on projects that bring together AI, DevOps, and full-stack development. I’ve built MLOps pipelines, dashboards that track and alert in real-time, automation systems that save teams hours of work, and web apps that are simple and intuitive to use. I love the mix of solving technical challenges while also making sure what I build feels practical and user-friendly.

What excites me most is exploring new ideas and turning them into something real. I enjoy reading research papers, especially ones that haven’t been applied yet, and challenging myself to learn or even try to implement them. I’m a very technical person at heart, always curious about what’s new in the world of AI and how it can be used in practice. Lately, I’ve been fascinated by Quantum AI and the possibilities it opens up for the future.

Experience

  1. Software / DevOps Senior Engineer — Giza Systems

    Jan 2025 – Aug 2025

I worked on Egypt’s national IMEI project with the NTRA where I dealt with huge datasets of device identities. I wrote Python and SQL scripts to clean and validate the data, kept the CI/CD pipelines running smoothly, and helped with Dockerized deployments so the system could handle large amounts of telecom data.

  2. DevOps / Delivery Engineer — Huawei (AUTIN Team)

    Sep 2024 – Jan 2025

I was part of the AUTIN delivery team at Huawei where I worked on automating telecom network systems. I maintained CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooted issues on Linux, APIs, and databases, and wrote scripts that made deployments faster and reduced manual work.

  3. CI/CD & Support Intern — Valeo Egypt

    Feb 2024 – May 2024

I worked with the CI/CD and support team at Valeo on automotive LiDAR software. Most of my work was keeping the pipelines running, helping fix build errors using Python and Bash, and writing down steps so the team could solve recurring issues more easily.

  4. Customer Interaction Support Intern — Canon Medical Systems

    Jul 2022 – Sep 2022

I joined Canon Medical Systems as a support intern where I worked with hospital imaging software. I helped staff with day-to-day issues, kept records organized, and wrote simple guides so the systems were easier to use and maintain.

  5. Governance & Cybersecurity Trainee — WE Telecom Egypt

    Summer 2021

At WE Telecom Egypt I had training in governance and cybersecurity. I learned the basics of risk management, secure data handling, and IT compliance, and I got to see how big organizations deal with threats and keep their systems safe.
